- Certification Details
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- BLS - Basic Life Support.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
- CHEMO - Chemotherapy.
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
- IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other).
- NIH Stroke Certification.
- Job Details
- Please indicate the WA license status on your profile: Active,
in Process, or no license.
- 5 years of experience REQUIRED in high acuity & high pace
environment, MIN of 3 years of experience, and will NOT accept
first time travelers.
- Experience is valued, staffing to follow AWHONN
guidelines.
- High Risk/High Volume L&D- all types.
- 4 ORs.
- Job Requirements
- MIN of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Not suitable for first-time travelers.
- Need high-risk experience and able to work in fast-paced, high
acuity environments.
- **EPIC electronic fetal monitoring experience required.
- Experience with Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate
essential.
- Candidates must be able to circulate and provide newborn care
including eyes and Vit K injections.
- Schedule Information
- Pre-approved time off will be on a case-by-case basis.
- Expected to work every other weekend and Holidays as needed.
- Unit Specific Information
- This position is in a high-risk, high-volume L&D unit with
4 ORs.
- Additional Details
- Floating required to Postpartum/Antepartum.
- May float to sister facilities that do Mom/Baby.
- Midwifery clients, private OBs, Adult Recovery Services
supporting substance recovery, Community care clinics as well.
- Functions in the role of Baby Nurse during the delivery and
continues care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum.
