Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Underwriter with
experience in business auto and commercial package lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Introduce specialty products to new producer relationships and
legacy retail agencies
Determine eligibility of incoming commercial insurance submissions
and make underwriting decisions
Review driver MVRs and client inspection reports to assess
eligibility and background information
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk
Management, or related field, or equivalent underwriting
experience
Minimum of 2 years as a full underwriter with commercial auto and
package business experience
Knowledge of insurance policy construction and regulations
Familiarity with rental car businesses and/or risk management is a
plus
Insurance industry educational certification(s) preferred
