Job Description:

FLO Analytics (FLO) is seeking a full-time Demographer to join our Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; or remotely from anywhere in the US. As our ideal candidate, you excel in demographic analysis, possess strong project management skills, and have a knack for innovative thinking. In this role, you'll take on technical and analytical challenges while working with a collaborative team, building relationships with clients, and directly influencing decisions in K-12 education systems. Your expertise will guide school districts in planning for the future, and you'll play a key role in advancing demographic research and data analytics across the country.You will:

• Develop student enrollment forecasts for K-12 school districts, using demographic methods and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze population data, land use and housing information, birth rates, and migration patterns.
• Create data visualizations such as tables, charts, and maps to support a variety of planning projects and present your findings to school officials, boards, and the public.
• Conduct attendance area boundary reviews, long-term planning, and capacity evaluations, helping school districts prepare for growth.
