Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Prepared Foods Department Supervisor to lead our Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the scheduling and supervision of Team Members, as well as overseeing the day-to-day flow of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
--- Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members
--- Work with the Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover
--- Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials
--- Maintain a clean and well-stocked department, including keeping all cases and shelves clean and properly rotated
--- Ensure all necessary breaks are given and communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader
--- Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale

Requirements:
--- 12+ months retail experience
--- Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies
--- Strong demonstrated organizational and time management skills
--- Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills
--- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
