Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a Food Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food products meet our high standards for quality and presentation.Duties and Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets.
• Food Quality and Presentation: Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Teamwork: Work as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6-12 months of retail experience.
  • Skills: Good product knowledge, ability to follow a recipe, and strong communication skills.Working ConditionsThis is a full-time position that requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
