Farmers Equipment Company is a full-service agricultural, material handling and construction equipment dealer with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Material Handling Service Technician I to work out of our Burlington Store serving customers at their locations throughout Whatcom County. Primary responsibilities:Service, repair and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment to OEM specifications at customer locationsRepresent FEC in a professional manner while serving internal and external customersAccurately detail repairs done on Work OrdersTroubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, research parts and repairs needed to successfully resolve issues leading to a positive outcomeAbility to meet Standard Repair Times for assigned workMeet company goal for Collectable Efficiency

Requirements:Strong mechanical aptitude and detail orientationMinimum three years directly applicable experience preferredCompetency in computer-based troubleshootingAbility to perform work in a safe and professional manner, both autonomously and as part of a teamOutstanding customer service skillsExcellent organizational and communication skillsClear driving record with valid Drivers LicenseProven dependability and good housekeeping skillsWage $25-29 per hour.
